This expensively produced book for children features one of her Christmas poems about the beauty of the world becoming covered in snow as a child awaits Santa (and Santa prepares to deliver presents). The so-called "life photographs," unusual in a children's book of the era, make this title an exceptional choice for a future family heirloom. Without dust jacket. Inner paper hinge split but holding, a couple small marginal tears, binding with mounted cover photographic illustration quite lovely. A near-fine copy.
