First edition of this collection of piano-vocal arrangements of popular Christmas songs by George Shackley. This lovely (and performable) collection of Christmas music was arranged by George Shackley, a prolific arranger and the music director at New York's WOR radio. It is divided into sections including narrative, devotional, and traditional, meant to appeal to a wide variety of singers and instrumentalists. Notably, several songs include arrangements for non-piano instruments including two themes suitable for organ, a "Meditation" scored for violin and piano, and two hymns with chime settings.  Interior generally fine, only slightest rubbing to extremities and small closed tear to rear wrapper. A near-fine copy.
