First edition of this fairy tale favorite, featuring six transformational slat moveables. The Magic Fairy Tales series offers a new twist on the moveable book. Each illustrated page is covered by an inserted slat panel that can be moved via pull-tab to reveal two different (decidedly 1940s-style) illustrations depending on its position. This version of Cinderella has much in common with the Disney version of Cinderella and omits the gorier parts of the Grimm version. Interior quite nice with tiny patch of loss to edge of rear pastedown, light rubbing to boards, front board split through at a few places along comb binding but holding strong. An extremely good copy.
