Written by father and son duo Francis E. and Sydney A. Clark, this is a wonderful overview of the Scandinavian countries during the early part of the 20th century. It deftly captures important sites in photographic illustrations, while offering important insight into life in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. Francis E. Clark was an early pioneer in the Christian Endeavor youth movement, promoting the importance of good works to young Christians at home and abroad. Scattered faint foxing to interior, only a few tiny spots of soiling and rubbing to beautiful pictorial-gilt binding. A near-fine copy.
