Circa 1920s edition of Clement C. Moore's classic Christmas poem, with folio color illustrations by acclaimed American illustrator Frances Brundage. First active during the late Victorian Era, American illustrator Frances Brundage was known for her charming illustrations, particularly of children. As her career continued, her style was marked by a consistent evolution. This version of "The Night Before Christmas" contains stylistic elements that would later define mid-century advertising illustration. A couple small purple stamps to blank inner wrapper, very faint dampstaining to top edge, a bit of wear and creasing. Overall, an extremely good copy.
